Hi…I’m Mairi…
I create for the joy of creating.
Art for Wee Spaces evolved a few years ago when I found myself living in a small flat with limited space to create paintings. I discovered that creating small and tiny paintings can be just as satisfying and challenging, and in many ways more so. I also discovered that it enabled me to make one-off art affordable….especially for those who still value original paintings produced by human hands, and also for those who really just like wee original creations.
All my paintings are semi abstract, watercolour and ink paintings, created intuitively. I’m especially obsessed with the beauty of trees from all seasons. Everything is original work..NOT PRINTS.
I’ve just opened a new Folksy Shop, and I also plan to do a few local markets and events this year.
I hope you like my wee paintings 🧡.
